tried that counting to five and letting the fear in thing (LOST reference, for those of you trapped on an island somewhere), but it only succeeded in making me queasy and more anxious. oh well.

got my second opinion doctor's appointment. second opinion as in my first opinion (who is very thorough, and i like a lot) has decided that it would be good to get more input. well, hopefully it won't be as stupid as the guy who sent me a mistyped letter with no info, and then sent me a bill for his services. (grrrr...)

so i'm freaking out, but in a calm constructive way (work might note that i'm more efficient under medical duress--albeit more curt/stressy as well). looking forward to a long weekend filled with nothing of substance. not even bothering to think about cooking. picked up a tofurkey, snacks, and dog treats. good enough.

ok, gotta focus a bit before i get outta here...wish me luck!

dunno where i've been (i've been right here!) but it's obviously been taking much of my time. no time for good browsing or other luxuries. it's nose to the grindstone time. or something.

kehoe's been cute as ever (that's where i've been! snuggling and talking to my dog with the heat turned up to 80 degrees), halloween and dia los muertos both came and went faster than i meant it to (what happened to summer?), and work has been unrelenting (wha?!? they expect me to work for my pay? shoot...)

some cool random info on daylight savings time. i'll try and be more interesting and up-to-date in the future...
